I hold both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Spanish Literature, and I taught University level Spanish for several years.  Since then I've become a Certified Spanish Court Interpreter, and an ATA Certified Spanish to English Translator.  Having lived and taught in Portugal for 3 years, I also have reading fluency in Portuguese, and offer Portuguese to English Translation.

In addition to fluency in both source and target languages, translation requires an understanding of cultural nuances and ways of thinking that are different from our own. Through extensive study and travel in Spain, Mexico, and Portugal, I've experienced the culture and history that live on in the languages that I translate.  

As a Spanish to English translator certified by the American Translators Association since 2017, I provide certified Spanish to English translations of personal and official documents for individuals.  These include:

• Birth, marriage, and death certificates
• Driver's licenses
• Educational records
• Real estate purchase and sale documents
• Other personal documents

My fee of $50 per page includes a certificate of accuracy with my certified translator stamp on it. This is payable in advance by PayPal/Zelle/credit card.
